Gilroy Healthcare Center in Mountain View, CA is looking for a Housekeeper/Janitor. We’re willing to train, and new grads are welcome.

• Maintains records of serviced rooms/areas and follows daily duties with supervisor.
• Keeps equipment in good working condition and reports needed repairs.
• Reports equipment/product needs or policy issues and patient condition changes.
• Addresses guest complaints or requests to ensure satisfaction.

Position Summary:

Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all patients and visitors.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor. Includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc.
• Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts
• Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines
• Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record all serviced rooms/areas
• Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs
• Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and/or patient change in conditions
• Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required to ensure patient and guest satisfaction
