Belmont Healthcare Center in Belmont, California, is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor. We’re willing to train and welcome new grads. You will perform the day-to-day housekeeping duties to keep our facility clean, safe, and comfortable for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, trash, and safe handling of cleaning products. You will maintain equipment, follow daily duties with supervision, and help ensure guest satisfaction.

• Maintains equipment and reports repairs or replacements.
• Handles guest requests and communicates needs to ensure satisfaction.

Position Summary:

Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all patients and visitors.

Qualifications:

• operate standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mops, brooms, etc.)

• Desire to keep workplace clean and safe

Responsibilities:

• Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor. Includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc.
• Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts
• Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines
• Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record all serviced rooms/areas
• Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs
• Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and/or patient change in conditions
• Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required to ensure patient and guest satisfaction
