Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Plymouth, MA is seeking an Environmental Services teammate for a 24-hour per week night shift (10:30pm-7:00am) with rotating weekends and holidays. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation of equipment, and supporting hospital operations.

You will perform bed moves, stock supplies, collect soiled linen, and transport linen carts while following infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Thorough working knowledge of hospital, departmental and infection control procedures.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral directions in English at the 12th grade level.
• Must be 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment.
• Set up functions and move requests.
• Perform related services, such as bed moves and stocking housekeeping supplies.
• Collect soiled linen from clinical locations.
• Transport full linen carts to distribution locations throughout the hospital.

• Responsible for function setups and moving requests.
• Performs related services, such as bed moves, stocking housekeeping supplies, etc.
• Collect soiled linen from clinical locations throughout the hospital.
• Transports full linen carts to designated distribution locations throughout the hospital.

Pay Range

$17.69 - $27.44

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
