Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Plymouth, MA is seeking a dependable Linen Aide to support cleanliness and infection control across patient areas. The role is 24 hpw, Day Shift 7:00am-3:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will perform duties including maintaining cleanliness, equipment sanitation, setting up functions, bed moves, stocking supplies, collecting soiled linen and transporting linen carts throughout the hospital.

Qualifications

• English literacy to a 12th-grade level.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Solid knowledge of hospital infection control procedures.

• Responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of environment of assigned areas.
• Maintenance and sanitation of equipment.
• Responsible for function setups and moving requests.
• Performs related services, such as bed moves, stocking housekeeping supplies, etc.
• Collect soiled linen from clinical locations throughout the hospital.
• Transports full linen carts to designated distribution locations throughout the hospital.

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required

• A thorough working knowledge of hospital, departmental and infection control procedures.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral directions in English at the 12th grade level.
• Must be 18 years old

Pay Range:

$17.69 - $27.44

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
