Job summary

The Oklahoma Heart Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper I to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. You will clean designated areas, remove trash, mop floors, dust surfaces, stock supplies, and help keep patient areas tidy.

You will report to the Environmental Services Manager and work within our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality cardiac care. Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
• Working Knowledge: Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Essential Technical / Motor Skills: General cleaning and housekeeping duties; maintain cleanliness per schedules.

Responsibilities

• Cleans designated areas and maintains a clean environment.
• Stocks paper items and maintains cart and equipment in clean condition.
• Reports to Environmental Services Manager and supports the hospital's mission.

Responsibilities

The OHH Housekeeper I creates a clean and safe environment, and enhances the appearance of the facility. Cleans designated and assigned areas. Procedures include damp dusting horizontal surfaces, vents, trash removal, cleaning/scouring sinks and stools, dry and wet mopping hard surfaced floors, vacuuming carpeting and upholstery, and washing windows, door frames and other vertical surfaces. Stocks paper items as designated, maintains cart and equipment in contained, clean, and working condition. Reports directly to the Environmental Services Manager. Performs all work in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of OHH.

Qualifications
