UnityPoint Health in Cedar Rapids is hiring a full-time Housekeeper I NE for the 2nd shift (4pm–12:30am). You will perform scheduled cleaning, respond to spills, maintain equipment, and dispose of waste to keep a hygienic environment in patient areas.

The role supports infection control standards, required training, and vaccination protocols. You will engage with patients, visitors, and staff to promote a welcoming setting, while following safety protocols and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Any relevant experience in a housekeeping-related position is preferred.

Overview

Full time. 2nd shift - 4pm-12:30am.

The Housekeeper I NE is responsible for helping to maintain a clean and hygienic environment by performing scheduled cleaning and responding to emergency spills. The role complies with Medicare, Medicaid, and infection control standards, completes required training, and adheres to vaccination protocols. The role helps to promote services through professional customer interactions, enhancing patient safety and hospital operations at UPH.
