Job summary

San Benito Health Care District in Hollister, CA, is seeking a full-time housekeeping staff member responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient and non-patient areas. You will perform floor care, waste and linen removal, and keep areas and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.

Under supervision, follow infection prevention, safety, chemical handling, and PPE requirements; identify safety hazards and report maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, performs cleaning and disinfecting throughout the Hospital to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include floor care, waste and linen removal, and general housekeeping duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience and knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and performing routine, repetitive tasks.

Job Type: Full-time, Variable Shifts

Pay: $23-$32/hour
