Job summary

San Benito Health Care District is hiring a Hospital Housekeeper to perform cleaning and disinfection throughout the facility under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. You will help keep patient and non-patient areas safe and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include floor care, waste and soiled linen removal, and maintaining clean, orderly spaces while following infection prevention protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Housekeeping experience and knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and performing routine, repetitive tasks.

• Provide courteous and professional service while working collaboratively with patients, visitors, and Hospital staff.

Pay: $27-$36/hour
