Bayonet Point is seeking experienced Housekeepers to work in our five-star rated facility.

Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your role is to perform cleaning, trash removal, laundry, and related tasks for residents and staff in the nursing center and during special events, in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and Solaris Healthcare's policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow facility cleaning procedures: ensure furniture is clean and orderly, floors are cleaned, cubicle curtains are in good condition, disinfect commonly touched areas, and clean and disinfect bathrooms.
• Inspect rooms for stains on walls, floors, ceiling tiles, and toilet seats; clean as needed.
• Replenish soaps, sanitizers, toilet paper, and paper towels daily.
• Dust over bed lights, A/C vents, and exhaust vents in resident rooms and common areas as needed.
• Report any damages found during cleaning to your supervisor.
• Perform other duties such as laundry or floor tech tasks as assigned.
• Follow cleaning procedures for resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure chemicals and products are replenished at the end of each shift, and maintain neatness of carts and janitor closet for the next shift.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
