Omni Interlocken Hotel & Spa is seeking a Room Attendant to join our outstanding housekeeping team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping and Housekeeping Leaders to ensure successful execution of all operations relating to the Housekeeping department, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in each guestroom. Guest Room Attendants refresh rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, aswell as, thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for thenext guest checking in.

We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have housekeeping experience in a hotel environment, we would love to speak with you about this role.

Salary for this position starts at (based on experience): $19.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities

• Responds to all guest requests appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Depending upon the volume, is responsible for servicing an assigned number of guest rooms.
• Clean up to 16 vacant rooms, 24 stayover rooms, or a mixture of the two daily.
• Keeps the supply cart neat and organized at all times and restock at the end of the shift.
• Clean guest rooms to Omni standard while efficiently meeting quantity expectations.
• Check all equipment prior to and after its use to ensure that it is in good working order.
• Remove room service tables and trays from guest rooms.
• Hand in any articles to a supervisor or return it to the dispatcher’s office.
• Turn in all lost and found items at end of shift.
• Report any maintenance issues or any concerns to be entered in Synergy.
• Maintain a 4-diamond level of service at all times.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time
• Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to strongly work in a team environment.

• Previous hotel Housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Must be 18 years or older.
