Job summary

The Golden Plough Inn in New Hope, PA, is seeking reliable individuals to join our housekeeping team. Full-time positions are available to clean and maintain sixty-six rooms, suites and common areas, delivering service excellence to guests.

Candidates should enjoy teamwork, be able to work holidays and weekends, and handle duties such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replacing linens, and keeping guest areas spotless. Training is provided, with room for growth in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be available to work holidays and weekends (Sat & Sun).
• 1–2 years cleaning experience preferred (training provided).
• Demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Professional, friendly manner with guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the high standards at all times of The Golden Plough Inn.
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access.
• Make beds, fold towels, replace linens & guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms including whirlpools.
• Remove trash and dirty linen.
• Dust and polish.

Requirements:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Must be available to work holidays & weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
• 1 - 2 years cleaning experience preferred (will train)
• Demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness
• Ability to work unsupervised

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 25 lbs. While performing the duties of this position you may be required to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time; reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull and stoop. Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning products.
