Part-Time Housekeeper Positions

We are looking for part-time housekeepers in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of resident rooms, offices, common areas, hallways, and dining areas.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the maintenance of a clean facility by:
2. Cleaning resident rooms and hallways daily, including floors, washrooms, and furnishings.
3. Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dusting nursing stations and dispensaries daily.
4. Performing thorough cleaning of all rooms on a rotating basis.
5. Cleaning staff and visitors' washrooms daily.
6. Cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting offices regularly.
7. Cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting the staff room and washrooms.
8. Wiping and vacuuming facility furniture as necessary.
9. Cleaning and dusting all ceiling fans regularly.
10. Emptying waste containers and relining with plastic bags.
11. Washing mops at the end of each shift and placing them in the laundry pail.
12. Washing and disinfecting all clean and soiled service rooms and storage rooms.
13. Cleaning the underside of all dining room tables regularly.
14. Washing dining room walls and ceilings every six months.
15. Taking garbage to outdoor receptacles daily, including weekends and holidays, especially in the absence of maintenance staff.
16. Restocking residents' rooms and washrooms.
17. Restocking staff and visitors' washrooms.
