+ Location: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center - 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary, including first, second, and third shifts. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Prior housekeeping experience preferred; training will be provided.

+ Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Perform light cleaning duties to maintain hospitals, hotels, and restaurants in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
