Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to work 8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends. Duties include cleaning patient rooms, offices, and common areas to meet health standards, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining stocked, tidy spaces.

Requirements include excellent customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of prior housekeeping experience preferred. Training provided for chemical handling and tool use.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash according to policy.
• Keep storage areas and carts clean and organized.

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking dynamic and talented Housekeepers to work various shifts. Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center and offers the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are looking for a full‑time Housekeeping employee available Monday - Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm and rotating weekends. Some of the expected duties are as follows:

• You will assume responsibility for the cleaning of all assigned areas such as patient rooms, offices, school as assigned by supervisor
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts well‑stocked, clean, and tidy.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• High school graduate or GED certification.
• Skill and aptitude to operate housekeeping equipment and tools assigned.
• Ability to understand the correct use of chemicals and supplies after training.
• Minimum of one year previous experience preferred.
