Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to work 8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends. Duties include cleaning patient rooms, offices, and common areas to meet health standards, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining stocked, tidy spaces.

Requirements include excellent customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of prior housekeeping experience preferred. Training provided for chemical handling and tool use.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and tools after training.
• Chemicals and supplies handling knowledge after training.
• Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, offices, and common areas as assigned.
• Ensure restrooms, corridors, lounges, and other areas meet health standards.
• Vacuum, shampoo, dust, and polish furniture and equipment.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash according to policy.
• Keep storage areas and carts clean and organized.
