Housekeeper | Full Time

Basic Function

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that standards of cleanliness in all guest rooms are achieved and maintained to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service, within the established time limits.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable.
• Neat, pleasant personality.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexible hours including weekends and evenings if necessary.
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and instructions.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, courtesy, and work with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned guest rooms following high standards during set time frames.
• Report safety hazards and follow all safety procedures.
• Practice safety standards at all times.
• Remain courteous and helpful to guests and coworkers.
• Inspect mattresses for bed bugs and report issues immediately.

Marginal Functions

• Perform other duties as requested.
• Make improvement recommendations.

Environment

Indoor work on hard and carpeted surfaces, occasional outdoor work, good ventilation.
