• We are hiring immediately for full-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.
• Location: MUSC Orangeburg - 3000 St. Matthews Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; shifts vary. 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. 3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. More details provided during interview.
• Requirement: No prior experience required.
• Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Arrange furniture and amenities per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Address spills and broken glass promptly.
• Contribute to team efforts while maintaining professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
