Job summary

Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, a Marcus Hotels & Resorts property, is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms in Madison, Wisconsin. You will be responsible for cleaning, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards while delivering warm, welcoming service to every guest.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout your shift.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred—but not required.
• Commitment to creating a warm, welcoming environment for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms efficiently and thoroughly within assigned time standards.
• Change bed linens, dust furniture, clean mirrors, and sanitize bathrooms and vanity areas.
• Vacuum carpets and maintain cleaning equipment daily.
• Restock housekeeping carts and closets with supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost and found items to your supervisor.
• Follow all safety, key control, and uniform policies.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments.
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude while working in guest areas.
