Job summary

Schahet Hotels—Homewood Suites Indianapolis Carmel is seeking a Room Attendant to join the Housekeeping team. You will maintain clean, inviting guest rooms and provide attentive, courteous service to all guests. Responsibilities include stocking carts, stripping beds, cleaning rooms to hotel standards, and reporting maintenance needs.

Prior housekeeping and customer service experience are preferred. Weekend/holiday availability is helpful.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies.
• Strip beds and drop dirty linens to the laundry.
• Obtain executive housekeeper's signature on the work assignment sheet.
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards.
• Inspect rooms for safety hazards and equipment condition.
• Check for damaged linens and report issues.
• Report lost and found items and maintenance problems to a supervisor.
• Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special requests.
• Record room status on work assignment sheets.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
