Job summary

Schahet Hotels LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will maintain clean, inviting guest rooms and provide courteous, attentive service to every guest.

The role involves stocking carts, cleaning to hotel standards, reporting maintenance issues, and responding to guest requests. Previous housekeeping or guest service experience is preferred, with flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies.
• Strip all beds in checked-out rooms and drop dirty linens to the laundry before any cleaning.
• Obtain executive housekeeper’s signature on work assignment sheet.
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards.
• Inspect room for safety hazards and the operating condition of equipment; check for damaged linens.
• Report lost and found articles and maintenance problems to a supervisor.
• Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests.
• Record room status on work assignment sheets.
• Other duties as assigned.
