We are hiring immediately for a full-time HOUSEKEEPER position at Crothall Healthcare.

Location: Brookwood Baptist Health - 2010 Brookwood Medical Center Drive, Birmingham, AL 35209. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests, and handles housekeeping issues like spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts, exhibits professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
