• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.
• Address: UAB St. Vincent East - 50 Medical Park East, Birmingham, AL 35235. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Monday - Friday, rotating weekends and holidays. 1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and 2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No experience required.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain facilities, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Disposes of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Rearranges furniture and amenities per layout.
• Responds to guest requests and queries.
• Handles housekeeping issues like spills and broken glass.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
