Job summary

The Barclay at Boynton Beach is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to help keep the community clean, safe and welcoming for residents. You will perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, and common areas with attention to proper chemical use and safety.

This full-time position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We value a caring heart, a high school diploma or GED, and prior housekeeping experience to serve older adults with dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• Knowledge of cleaning best practices and safety considerations is a plus.
• Experience in housekeeping preferred but not required for compassionate candidates.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals safely according to procedure and state requirements.
• Transport trash and hazardous waste to disposal areas and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance issues to ensure a safe facility.

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper for The Barclay at Boynton Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper - FTFT 9am - 5pm (Tuesday - Saturday)

• Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.

• Must be able to work flexible schedule; including weekends and holidays as scheduled
