Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper for Washington Commons by Barclay House. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff within a senior living facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, offices, and common areas, following proper chemical usage and safety procedures, and ensuring proper handling of waste and supplies. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.
• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairs.
• Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements.
• Use and maintain equipment properly; transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area; replenish supplies as required.

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.
