Job summary

Labette Health is seeking dedicated and dependable Housekeepers to join our Environmental Services team. As a Housekeeper, youll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Full time Day and Evening positions available. Environmental Services responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and public areas, restocking supplies, and following infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Training provided if needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shift.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and push carts up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to patient safety and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas according to hospital standards.
• Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Remove trash, linen, and infectious waste safely and appropriately.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisors.
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to room cleaning requests promptly.
