Job summary

TSVH is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional for a full-time role in a healthcare environment. The position involves cleaning resident rooms and common areas, following safety protocols, and assisting with laundry as needed.

The role requires attention to detail in sanitizing fixtures, cleaning glass surfaces, and maintaining clean floors, walls and ceilings. Flexibility to work additional shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.
• Ability to positively interact with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts beyond first shift.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms and areas to established standards.
• Follows all safety procedures and precautions.
• Cleans and polishes furnishings, fixtures and fixtures in resident areas daily.
• Cleans, washes, sanitizes and polishes bathroom fixtures.
• Cleans windows, mirrors and entrance/exit ways.
• Cleans walls and ceilings by washing and disinfecting.
• Cleans floors: sweeping and mopping with safety signs set up.
• Assists in other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assists in laundry as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

HOUSEKEEPING -FULLTIME

Department: Environmental Services

Reports To: Environmental Services /Laundry Manager

Shift: First shift. Must have flexibility to work other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the rooms within the facility are cleaned in the proper manner.
• Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when performing housekeeping services.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water marks are removed from fixtures.
• Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, etc. (NOTE: Ensure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.)
• Assists in other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assists in the laundry, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.
• Must be able to positively interact with other staff, residents and families.
