Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for the Environmental Services Department. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff, including collaboration with other departments for additional cleaning tasks and overseeing supply levels with supervision for replenishment.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with an evening shift and rotating weekend/holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
• Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

As a Housekeeper, You Will

• Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental services functions and tasks.
• Work with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise.
• Assist with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping, notifying supervisor when refill orders are needed.

Pay Range
