Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Housekeeper for its Environmental Services Department to support our mission of holistic healing.

The role involves maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, collaborating with other departments, and managing housekeeping supplies, with a day weekend shift and full-time schedule. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.79 per hour.

Qualifications

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Housekeeper for our Environmental Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

• Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental services functions and tasks.
• Work with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise.
• Assist with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping, notifying supervisor when refill orders are needed.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
• Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

Work Schedule

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Shift Type: Day Weekend
• Requirements: Every other weekend rotation
• Holiday Requirements: Rotating
• Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.79
• If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
• Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt)
