Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Housekeeper in the Environmental Services Department to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will perform assigned cleaning tasks and work with other departments to handle extra duties as needed.

This full-time, day-shift role is 40 hours per week with every-other-weekend rotation. We offer competitive pay and benefits, including health coverage, paid time off, retirement contributions, and employee parking.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED desired but not required.
• Ability to use cleaning supplies and equipment safely.

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Housekeeper for our Environmental Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Housekeeper, You Will

• Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental services functions and tasks.
• Work with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise.
• Assist with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping, notifying supervisor when refill orders are needed.

Qualifications Include

• A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
• Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

Work Schedule

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Shift Type: Day
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation
• Holiday Requirements: Rotating

Pay Range

$18.00 - $22.79
