Job summary

University Retirement Community in Davis, CA is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and team members. You will clean resident apartments, common areas, and assigned spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine housekeeping services including cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and assigned spaces.

• Maintain organized and sanitary work areas while delivering a resident-focused service experience.

University Retirement Community (URC) is a vibrant not-for-profit Life Plan Community located in Davis, California. We are seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and team members.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide routine housekeeping services including cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and assigned spaces.
• Perform deep cleaning and special projects to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and according to established procedures.
• Maintain organized and sanitary work areas while delivering a resident-focused service experience.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Schedule:

Wednesday - Sunday -7:45am - 4:15pm

Monday - Friday - 7:45am-4:15pm

Monday-Friday

Pay: $17.00 - $20.91 / hr DOE

About You

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices.
