Job summary

University Retirement Community (URC) in Davis, CA is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and teammates.

You will perform routine cleaning of resident apartments and common areas, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a resident-focused service experience; prior housekeeping experience preferred and benefits include medical, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, dependable and able to interact with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine housekeeping services including cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and assigned spaces.
• Perform deep cleaning and special projects to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Maintain organized and sanitary work areas while delivering a resident-focused service experience.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
