Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Housekeeper / Dispatcher (PRN / Evenings) for Texas Health Dallas in Dallas, TX. Evening shift runs 2:30pm–11:00pm with rotating weekends for the first 90 days.

Strong emphasis on infection control, sanitation and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting. Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma and have housekeeping experience in hospital or hotel environments, plus solid verbal and written communication skills to work independently and adapt to

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of hospital or hotel housekeeping experience highly preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working independently, setting priorities, and being flexible in assignments. Able to work around housekeeping chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period.
• Responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work hours: PRN "As Needed", Evening Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Rotating Schedule, includes working every weekend for the first 90 days of employment. Work rotating weekends after 90 days of employment.

Here's What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of hospital or hotel housekeeping experience highly preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working. independently, setting priorities, and being flexible in assignments. Able to work around housekeeping chemicals.

What You Will Do

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, pulling trash, pulling dirty linen, cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period.
• Responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
