Job summary

The role offers a 36-hour work week across day shifts, with weekend requirements every 3 weeks and shift differential eligibility.

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for our Emergency Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Unit Support Coordinator, you will:

• Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed.
• Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• High school diploma / GED
• At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Proficient in PC, Internet and email required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred.

Pay Range: $18.80 - $24.18
