Job summary

Oakland Care in Swanley is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will be part of a warm care home team that values respect and compassion.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, and supporting infection control, with a friendly, can-do approach to daily tasks and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience (care home experience is a bonus but not essential).
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Warm, respectful approach when working in residents’ personal spaces.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents’ rooms and communal areas.
• Carry out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensure laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Support infection control procedures.

Location: Birchwood Heights, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley BR8 7BT

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Contract: Zero Hours (Bank)

Shift: Days (including some weekends)
