Sapphire Health Services, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a part-time Housekeeper who will work Thursday through Saturday, starting pay $18.00 to $19.00 per hour DOE. The role requires a love of senior care, attention to detail, and the ability to work unsupervised.

The Housekeeper will help maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff, following safety and infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Protective gear used as directed.
• Professionally clean and maintain property.
• Follow company cleaning products and procedures.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces.
• Move furniture to access under/behind surfaces.
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Safe handling of cleaning solutions and safety precautions.
• Interact appropriately with residents, families and staff.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures.

Job Summary

The Housekeeper will work to ensure the facility maintains a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes protective gear as directed
• Professionally clean and maintain property
• Use cleaning products and procedures as directed by company standards
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
• Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
• The Housekeeper will assist with laundry as needed
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions
• Interacts appropriately with residents, families and other personnel
• Follows infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
• Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures/techniques
