Compass Senior Living in Vernon, IL is seeking a part-time Weekend Housekeeper to support our mission of vibrant senior living. The role focuses on cleaning apartments, common areas, and adhering to safety and infection-control protocols while delivering courteous service to residents and staff.

The weekend schedule requires flexibility and teamwork; candidates should be prepared for physical work and to pass background checks.

Qualificações

• Must provide friendly customer service to residents and family members.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• English reading/writing/speaking required for residents and staff.

What You'll Do

The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner per established procedures and as directed by the supervisor; ensures that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is always maintained.

As a Housekeeper, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• You will provide cleaning services inside residents' apartments and common areas.
• You will follow a cleaning schedule and instructions.
• You will adhere to procedures regarding infection control, food-borne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety, and sanitation.
• You will submit maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Director.
• You will report any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community.

• You will meet health requirements, including TB.
• You will be able to pass a criminal background check.
