Job summary

Prestige Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean resident rooms and shared spaces, ensuring a safe, comfortable community for residents and families. You will help maintain a welcoming, home-like environment and support our standard of care across our care centers.

Ideal candidates may have housekeeping or facilities experience, especially in senior healthcare settings, and must be able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, straighten and empty trash in commons areas, offices and restrooms, replenish soap and paper.
• Clean resident rooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, surfaces, replenishing soap and paper supplies.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors regularly.
• Maintain apartments safely, keeping residents' personal items secure.
• Clean spills and other hazardous conditions as directed.
• Use cleaners and hazardous materials per product instructions and department procedure.
• Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned.

In this job, every day you will…

• Cleans, straightens and picks up trash in commons areas, offices and public rest rooms, to include sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, furniture and replenishes soap and paper products.
• Clean, straightens and picks up trash in resident rooms to including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors and surfaces, replenishing soap and paper products.
• Vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops floors on a routine basis.
• Ensures that apartments are maintained in a safe, comfortable, and attractive manner, keeping residents’ personal items safe.
• Cleans spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
• Uses cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedure.
• Cleans exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned.

Education & Experience You Need To Qualify

• Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role a plus, specifically in a multi-unit environment.
• Experience working with the senior population helpful, specifically in a healthcare environment.
• Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
