Job summary

Prestige Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean resident rooms and common areas, contributing to a safe and comfortable living environment for residents. You will replenish supplies, follow cleaning protocols, and maintain high standards of hygiene in a welcoming, home-like setting.

Previous housekeeping or facilities experience is a plus, especially in senior care. The role is on-site and part of a supportive care team, with pathways for advancement within Prestige Care.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role is a plus.
• Experience working with the senior population is helpful in a healthcare environment.
• Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and tidies resident rooms and common areas to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal in accordance with procedures.
• Replenish soaps and paper products; keep bathrooms and shared spaces tidy and sanitary.
• Ensure apartments are safe, comfortable, and well-kept; protect residents' personal items.

In this job, every day you will…

• Cleans, straightens and picks up trash in commons areas, offices and public rest rooms, to include sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, furniture and replenishes soap and paper products.
• Clean, straightens and picks up trash in resident rooms to including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors and surfaces, replenishing soap and paper products.
• Vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops floors on a routine basis.
• Ensures that apartments are maintained in a safe, comfortable, and attractive manner, keeping residents' personal items safe.
• Cleans spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
• Uses cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedure.
• Cleans exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned.

Education & Experience You Need To Qualify

• Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role a plus, specifically in a multi-unit environment.
• Experience working with the senior population helpful, specifically in a healthcare environment.
• Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
