Job summary

Capital Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Janitor to help maintain our Sacramento facility. No prior experience required; we’re willing to train new grads to keep patient areas clean, safe, and comfortable for residents and visitors.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, follow safety protocols for chemicals, and assist with housekeeping duties in collaboration with supervisors. Our team values compassionate service and reliable care.

Qualifications

• Operate standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mops, brooms, etc.).
• Outstanding customer service and a kind communication style.
• Desire to keep workplace clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor. Includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc.
• Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts
• Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines
• Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record all serviced rooms/areas
• Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs
• Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and/or patient change in conditions
• Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required to ensure patient and guest satisfaction
