Job summary

Workstream in Greenbrae Marina, California, is seeking a Housekeeper for a premier nursing facility. You will ensure the facility is kept clean, safe, and comfortable for patients and visitors alike.

The successful candidate will operate standard housekeeping equipment, demonstrate outstanding customer service, and maintain a clean workplace. Candidates must be able to follow health and safety regulations while fulfilling various cleaning duties and managing equipment effectively.

Position Summary

Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mops, brooms, etc.)
• Outstanding customer service and a kind communication style
• Desire to keep workplace clean and safe

Responsibilities

• Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor. Includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc.
• Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts
• Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines
• Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record of all serviced rooms/areas
• Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs
• Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and/or patient change in conditions
• Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required to ensure patient and guest satisfaction
• Complies with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
