Job summary

The NYS Department of Health is seeking a Housekeeper who will supervise a team of cleaners and perform cleaning tasks under the direction of the Head Housekeeper. The incumbent may act as Housekeeping Manager/Director when the Head Housekeeper is absent.

The position is a full-time appointment with a robust benefits package including retirement, PSLF, and shift pay differentials. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and communicate orally and in writing.
• Preferred: experience working in a long-term care setting.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have experience working in a long-term care setting.
