UnityPoint Health is hiring a Housekeeper for the Meriter location in Madison. The role includes cleaning, moving, stocking, waste and recycling removal, floorcare, and exchanging cubicles to maintain an aesthetically pleasing and safe environment.

Shifts are Monday through Friday 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Compensation is $19.56 per hour, and the position is benefit eligible with full-time hours and a 40-hour work week.

Formación

• Must be able to read and write English and interpret measuring and hazard instructions on labels.
• Must be able to do basic arithmetic.
• Preferred: High School Education or GED.
• One-year cleaning in healthcare preferred.
• Good customer service preferred.

• Clean and maintain designated areas.
• Move, stock, and dispose waste/recycling.
• Perform floor care and cubicle exchanges.
• Ensure environment is clean and safe.

The Housekeeper position is responsible for a variety of duties such as; cleaning, moving, stocking, waste and recycling removal, floorcare, and exchanging cubicles. The housekeeper must have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain an environment that is aesthetically pleasing while maintaining maximum bacteriological control. Housekeepers must have the physical and mental ability to perform tasks related to the position.
