Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a housekeeper to maintain cleanliness at the Service Center and surrounding offices. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is required.

Available full-time shift is Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. You will clean warehouse areas, replenish supplies, operate floor care equipment, and adhere to OSHA guidelines. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently clean within the warehouse to include office areas, bathrooms, and cafeteria.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.
• Operate various motorized equipment including floor polishers, sweeper vac, etc.
• Remove snow by hand or mechanical means.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Work in a fast paced environment.
• Read, write, conduct business mathematics and analyze data as required.
• Bring problems to the attention of supervisor or HR.
• Follow daily procedures and trainings.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
• Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed.
• Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed.
• Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
