Foot Locker in Sparks, NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support general and preventative maintenance across the service center. You will maintain facility and equipment, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment in the service center.
• Ensure equipment is operational at shift start and report damages promptly.
• Operate lift trucks and maintenance vehicles.
• Perform daily and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Elevate defects or repairs to supervisor as needed.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.

Overview

The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for providing support in general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and the upkeep of the entire service center. In this role, you will maintain all facility/material handling equipment and ground equipment through preventative maintenance while providing additional support to the maintenance department as required.

Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair basic electro-mechanical problems (i.e. belt tracking, sensors, chain alignment and tension, replace/repair gear boxes/motors, electrical overloads, blown fuses, etc…) as well as analyze and repair basic system/equipment malfunctions
• Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift, including checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately
• Operate lift trucks, maintenance equipment, grounds equipment, and company vehicles
• Perform extensive preventative maintenance procedures, including conducting daily preventative maintenance inspections
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, referring any defects or needed repairs to the supervisor
• Properly follow critical Lock Out / Tag Out actions while working on equipment and follow company and OSHA safety procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable 30-40 feet in the air on equipment
• Ability to read, write, conduct business-related mathematics and analyze data as required
• Capable of moving 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed

Benefits

Base rate paid bi-weekly: $24.00 - $32.50 / hr

2nd Shift Differential: $1.00
