Job summary

Journey is seeking a dedicated facilities care teammate in Georgia to perform cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas, while upholding infection control policies and accurate documentation.

The role also supports equipment and supplies management, and focuses on resident-focused service, privacy, and teamwork with local leadership and the home office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties in resident areas.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and stock supplies.
• Support residents while adhering to privacy and infection control policies.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED diploma

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing trash and waste materials.
• Equipment and Supplies Management: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers, safely and effectively; prepare and distribute supply packs and linens as needed.
• Resident-Focused Support: Practice sensitivity to residents’ privacy and individual needs while adhering to infection control policies and completing all required documentation accurately.
