Job summary

LifeSpire of Virginia is seeking an Environmental Services team member to keep resident areas clean and inviting while replenishing toiletries and storage housekeeping equipment. The role emphasizes a respectful, patient approach to residents and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, ensuring equipment functions properly, and following infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Capable of standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Able to work rotating weekends.
• Pleasant personality and patience interacting with residents, guests, and team members.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English

Responsibilities

• Participates in ongoing visual evaluation of the cleanliness of the facility and addresses any needed areas.
• Maintains an ample supply of cleaning materials and necessary equipment in a neat and readily accessible manner
• Checks equipment daily for proper functioning; reports all malfunctions or damage according to department policy
• Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
• Complies with infection control, hazardous waste removal, safety and all other company regulations, guidelines, and policies

Job Requirements
