Job summary

Absolut Center is seeking a Housekeeper to help keep our facility clean, safe, and comfortable for residents. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitize rooms, and assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

The role requires lifting up to 25 lbs and strong communication with residents and staff. We offer full-time and part-time shifts, including every other weekend and some holidays, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and a friendly, caring approach to residents.
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.

Job Description:

As a housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility remains clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents. Your responsibilities will include general cleaning tasks, maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms, common areas, and assisting with special cleaning projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring they are stocked and sanitary.
• Empty trash and recycle bins and properly dispose of waste.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow infection control procedures and adhere to facility policies and standards.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, compassionate attitude toward residents.
• Ability to lift and move items as needed (up to 25 lbs).

Schedule:

• Full-time position, 7.5 hours per day/5 days per week.
• Shifts include every other weekend and some holidays.
