Job summary

Upstate Services Group is seeking a dependable housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents at Absolut Center. You will perform daily cleaning of resident rooms and common areas, and assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

This full-time position offers 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with shifts including every other weekend and some holidays. Previous housekeeping experience is welcome but not required; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, compassionate attitude toward residents.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Empty trash and recycle bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow infection control procedures and adhere to facility policies and standards.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and staff.

Job Description: As a housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility remains clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents. Your responsibilities will include general cleaning tasks, maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms, common areas, and assisting with special cleaning projects as needed.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring they are stocked and sanitary.
• Empty trash and recycle bins and properly dispose of waste.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow infection control procedures and adhere to facility policies and standards.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and staff.
