The Birches at Villa Rica, part of Greenbrier Senior Living, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper in Villa Rica, GA. You will maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff by cleaning apartments and common areas in line with health and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude when interacting with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service public/common areas and private resident apartments in accordance with established health, hygiene, safety, and appearance standards.
• Follow housekeeping procedures for dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and trash removal.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and other community spaces.
• Properly dispose of refuse while adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies to prevent waste, damage, and accidents.
• Keep utility and storage rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and team members. This position performs routine housekeeping duties throughout resident apartments and common areas while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.

What You Will Do

Physical Requirements

On a daily basis, throughout the workday, candidates must be capable of:

• Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Climbing stairs, reaching, turning, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and maintaining balance.
• Pushing, pulling, grasping, and performing fine motor tasks.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds independently and exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
