Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel in Valdosta, GA is seeking full-time and part-time housekeepers to help create memorable experiences for travelers. You will perform cleaning duties to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness.

We offer competitive hourly pay, quarterly bonuses up to $3,200 per year based on hotel results, and a range of benefits including health coverage, a 401(k), and hotel discounts. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior cleaning experience required.
• Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
• Cleaning experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Excellent customer service.
• Mental and physical requirements: ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch and bend during daily work activities.
• Ability to lift 25–35 pounds intermittently during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, changing linens and making bathrooms shine.
• Collaborate with team to complete daily housekeeping duties.
• Assist guests by providing bedding, towels, amenities or information upon request.
• Support in laundry and public areas when needed.
• Shift may require working Saturdays and Sundays.

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time housekeepers.

Compensation

Competitive starting hourly pay Quarterly bonuses up to $3200/year based on hotel results.

Incentives - Quarterly bonus opportunity of up to $3,200 annually (bonus is separate from base salary)

• What you will do: In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra. This makes our hotels stand out and keeps our guests coming back.
• As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine.

Requirements
